YouTube Subscribe Link Generator

Turn your channel link into a one-click subscribe link that shows a confirmation popup to visitors.

The fastest way to grow subscribers from people who already like your work is to remove the steps between “I like this” and “Subscribed”. A subscribe link opens your channel with a Subscribe to this channel? popup already on screen, so one click is all it takes. This generator builds that link from your handle or channel URL, plus a ready-made HTML button for your website.

  1. Type your @handle or paste your channel link into the box.
  2. Copy the subscribe link, or copy the HTML button if you want to add it to a website or blog.
  3. Click Test the link and check that the popup appears for your channel.

The tool accepts all common channel formats and turns them into a working link:

You pasteThe tool uses
@yourchannelyoutube.com/@yourchannel?sub_confirmation=1
youtube.com/@yourchannel/videosyoutube.com/@yourchannel?sub_confirmation=1
youtube.com/channel/UCxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxyoutube.com/channel/UC…?sub_confirmation=1
youtube.com/c/YourName or /user/YourNamethe same path with ?sub_confirmation=1

Video, Shorts and playlist links are rejected on purpose – the popup only exists on channel pages.

Put it where people are already paying attention to you:

  • The first two lines of every description. That text is visible before “…more”, so the link gets seen. A short call to action helps: New videos every Tuesday – subscribe here:.
  • Pinned comments on your most-watched videos.
  • Link-in-bio pages on Instagram, TikTok and X, next to your latest video.
  • Email newsletters and signatures. Readers who open your emails are your warmest audience.
  • Your website or blog – paste the HTML button from the tool into any page.
  • End of a live stream, typed into the chat when viewers are most engaged.

Make the ask, but make it honest

A link only works if people want what your channel offers. Tell them what they get – a 10-minute recipe every Sunday is more convincing than please subscribe. Ask after you have delivered value, not in the first five seconds, and never promise rewards for subscribing; YouTube treats incentivised subscriptions as fake engagement.

Phone vs. computer

On a computer the popup appears reliably. On phones it depends where the link opens: mobile browsers usually show it, while the YouTube app opens the channel page and may skip the popup. If most of your audience is on Instagram or TikTok, compare two versions for a week or two – this subscribe link, and an app link made with the YouTube deep link generator – and keep the one that brings more subscribers in YouTube Studio.

Measure the result

YouTube does not count clicks on the link, but you can still see whether it works. In YouTube Studio → Analytics → Audience, watch subscribers gained per week before and after you add the link to a new place, and check Subscribers by source for external traffic.

Frequently asked questions

What does ?sub_confirmation=1 do?

Added to the end of a channel URL, it tells YouTube to open a Subscribe to this channel? popup as soon as the page loads. The visitor confirms with one click instead of looking for the subscribe button.

Is a subscribe link allowed by YouTube?

Yes. It is a normal YouTube feature, and the viewer still decides whether to subscribe. What breaks the rules is buying subscribers, using sub4sub groups or bots – never needed with this link.

Does the popup work on phones?

In a mobile browser it usually does. When the link opens inside the YouTube app, the app shows the channel page and often skips the popup, but the subscribe button is right at the top. Test both and keep the version that converts better for your audience.

Can I use a video link instead of a channel link?

No. The popup only works on channel pages, so the generator needs your @handle, a youtube.com/@handle link, a /channel/UC… link or an older /c/ or /user/ link.

What happens if the viewer is not signed in?

YouTube first asks them to sign in, then shows the popup. Viewers who are already subscribed simply see your channel.

Can I track how many people subscribe from the link?

YouTube does not report clicks on the link itself, but YouTube Studio → Analytics → Audience shows where new subscribers came from, and you can compare the numbers before and after you add the link somewhere.
